Meanwhile, for a quick round-up:
- We made five times the income over 2006.
- We had over 20 vendors selling at different times during the year.
- We participated the the Ct Dep of Ag "Farm to Chef" program, with the Executive Chef from The Spa at Norwich Inn showcasing different foods from our vendors.
- We had musical entertainment from Nina and the Quarry Cats, a three piece group that played Rockabilly, Blues, Jazz and Old Time Country.
- We had many different contests including the Denison Farm Market Sweetest Sweet Corn.
- We held our 2nd Annual Harvest Farm Market in November, including 18th century reenactors cooking over a fire with food provided by the vendors, great end-of-fall harvests, and Bernie's Best Apple Cider.
- Our web site has expanded.
- 2008 will see the market expand even more and relocate further back in the pasture to accomadate more parking.
- We are now clearly SE CT's Premier Farm Market.

Denison Farm Market Press Release
The Denison Society is pleased to announce that with the assistance of past President Craig Floyd, from Footsteps Farm here in Mystic, that we will soon start our third year of the Denison Farm Market. Please read more about this in our list of Programs (and interested farmers/vendors will find there the information they need and an application to sell at this market).
The Denison Society and the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center would like to ask for your help in getting out the word about our Farm Market by inserting the following text in your bulletin or newsletter, or by public announcement at your service or gathering:
“The Denison Society and the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center at 120 Pequotsepos Road in Mystic would like to invite you to attend a premier Farm Market on part of the approximately 200 acres that comprise the Society’s land holdings on Pequotesepos Road which lies between Jerry Browne and Mistuxet Roads.
Starting the first Sunday in June and running until the last Sunday in October, the market will be open from 12:00 until 3:00, just perfect timing for a stop by after church to pick up lunch or dinner.
The market will be held in one of the two 20-acre mowed fields across from the Nature Center. This will put the visitor right in the middle of a very extensive walking trail system which is there for your use and enjoyment. The location will also afford you a chance to visit the Denison Museum and the Nature Center so you can take advantage of the programs and space offered by both facilities. There is just no better place to buy fresh farm raised food, take a hike in the woods or investigate the sunning turtles in the pond.”
